DEVELOPMENT WORKER WITH OLDER PEOPLE (NW)
The Barnsley Methodist Circuit is looking for a part-time worker to support the work with older people in the North West Church.
The work will be primarily to support elderly people in the community through social groups and activities, being creative in overcoming the barriers for their participation in such things.
Salary - £13,650 per annum
Hours - 25 hours per week.
Fixed term appointment for one year.
Additional hours may be agreed from time to time to deliver particular projects
Some evening and weekend work will be required.
Based in the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council North Area, this role supports the whole North West Church. The multi-site church was established in 2016 and involves working across six chapels under a single Church Council. This role will involve working in four of those chapels in the Northern section of the North West Church.
